The first week of the newly launched Alliance of American Football league was a success from a viewership standpoint and has provided die hard football fans what they crave after the college and NFL season, and that's more football.

The league has some prominent figures in both college and professional football backing the product, but the league features some great and well known college athletes giving them the opportunity to showcase the ability without going to the NFL.

Joe Pendry, former Alabama assistant and offensive line coach and general manager for the Birmingham Iron joined The Gary Harris Show discuss the benefits of the AAF, running back Trent Richardson success in the first game of the season, head coach Tim Lewis, and quarterback Luis Perez potential with the Iron.
