On Wednesday the Atlanta Braves (5-1) completed a three-game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals (2-4) with a 5-2 victory at Busch Stadium with pitcher Bryce Elder getting the win.

Atlanta looks to defend its five NL East division titles in a row with a sixth crown this season, hoping to reach the World Series yet again. Atlanta returns home to the Peach State on Thursday for its home opener against the San Diego Padres in a four-game series at Truist Park.

The Braves opened the season with a series victory over the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park before sweeping St. Louis. Matt Olson, Ronald Acuña Jr. and company are sure to bring in big crowds, as America's team returns to the diamond.

A stacked young core and recent string of success have expectations high for the Braves, with the hopes of bringing another World Series to the Battery.

You can catch the team in action for the next week at Truist Park, while The Masters takes place down in Augusta.
