Bryce Young Receives High Praise From NFL Legend

The Carolina Panthers hosted the New York Jets for a joint practice session on Thursday, two days prior to their preseason opener on Saturday.

During a press conference after the practice, newly acquired Jets quarterback and likely NFL Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers praised Young's performance throughout the day.

"I love the kid [...] Carolina is in great hands," said Rodgers.

The 18-year NFL veteran also provided Young with some insight, telling the 22-year-old "Be gentle with yourself, it’s a long journey.”

Young impressed throughout the practice, including throwing two "perfect" passes, according to PFF's Trevor Sikkema.
