Five-star quarterback Bryce Young finished his high school career in style today. At the Army All-America Game in San Antonio, Texas, Young was named game MVP. Young, from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California led the West team to victory 33-20.

Young completed 6 of 9 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns. His two scores came from a 43-yard and 75-yard pass. He is expected to enroll at the University of Alabama in the coming week to join the Crimson Tide and get his college career underway.

Young originally committed to USC before flipping his commitment to the Crimson Tide in September 2019. He was named Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of California as well as the 2019 High School Quarterback of the Year by the National Quarterback Club.

He joins an already loaded quarterback room in Tuscaloosa with Mac Jones, Tulia Tagovailoa and Paul Tyson. Young will look to compete for the starting job for Alabama when the 2020 season arrives.
