In less than two months, Alabama football embarks on their 12th season under Nick Saban with a season opening clash against Louisville in Orlando.

In last Monday's episode of The Blitz, DC from Golden Shores Productions and former Alabama fullback Martin Houston studied Scott Cochran's influence on the football program through his leadership in the "Fourth Quarter Program".

In this week's "Capstone Report with DC" segment, the duo examined Amy Bragg's contributions to the success of Alabama football.

Bragg is the Crimson Tide's Director of Performance Nutrition and arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2010 after holding the same position for six years at Texas A&M.

During the discussion of Bragg's impact on the program, DC looked at Bragg's arrival in Tuscaloosa, how the athletic department committed to using nutrition to improve the strength and stamina of the football program and her attention to detail concerning her assessment of the players.

Later in the segment, Martin Houston and DC explored the condition of the offensive line coming out of spring practice and some new faces that could be difference makers in the trenches.

The Blitz kicks off live and local coverage of Alabama sports every weekday from 6-7 AM on Tide 102.9/100.9 and the Tide 102.9 app.
