Cecil Hurt, of The Tuscaloosa News, joined Host of "Southern Fried Sports" Travis Reier Tuesday morning to talk quarterbacks after the Manning Passing Academy, provide an update on Kira Lewis Jr., and flashed back to the 1980 football season.

"Mississippi State either did or did not fumble late in the game," Hurt Reminisced the 6-3 loss to Mississippi State, which ended the Crimson Tide's 28 game win streak. "There are a lot of Alabama Fans that swear that State fumbled it in the end zone and Alabama recovered it. I think some of those fans are just in denial that Alabama could lose those games."

"I will say is it was a last minute decision," Hurt told Travis about Tagovailoa missing the Manning Passing Academy. "The Mannings were expecting him to be there, so they made that decision the day-of or a day before. Everything I've heard is that it's fine, just that he has some tightness."
