Chris Hummer, National College Football Writer for 247Sports, joined Host of "Southern Fried Sports" Travis Reier to provide an update on one of Alabama's latest 2020 commits Damieon George. As well as, discuss what this could mean for his high school teammate, one of the nationally top-ranked running back prospects Zachary Evans.

"It's hard not to connect the dots," Hummer told Reier. "Those two won a state championship together at Northshore. They are really close, Zach's best friend on Northshore was probably Damieon."

The 6’6.5, 348-pound offensive tackle George has seemed unwavering about being recruited as a package deal with Evans. At the same time, Evans has made sure to check-in with recruiters about George.

"They've talked for a long time about playing together," Hummer told Reier. "Zach would literally, when coaches call him, ask how often they are talking with Damieon, and what they are talking about. That relationship is very close."
