Christian Harris Officially Declares for the 2022 NFL Draft
Junior Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Christian Harris has officially declared for the 2022 NFL Draft via his Instagram account.
Harris figures to be a late-first to mid-second round pick in April's draft after a strong finish to his 2021 season in Tuscaloosa. Harris put up his best numbers in his three years as a starting off-ball backer for the Tide, racking up 80 tackles, 11.5 for a loss including 5.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
In his career, Harris recorded 220 total tackles, 26 for a loss including 10 sacks, an interception, six pass deflections a fumble recovery and two forced fumbles.
Harris joined the Tide as a 4-star linebacker in the 2019 recruiting class out of Baton Rouge. He stepped in as a true freshman next to Shane Lee to fill in for Dylan Moses and Joshua McMillon for the 2019 season. Despite trials and tribulations to be expected of a young player, Harris showed tremendous potential and ultimately stamped himself as a premier defender on Nick Saban's squad in the 2021 season next to Henry To'o To'o.
