Avery Johnson joined Inside The Locker Room on Monday to talk to Wimp and Barry Sanderson and update the coaches on what he has been up to since his departure from the University of Alabama. Johnson spent the previous season with CBS Sports Network covering college basketball with a focus on the American Athletic Conference. Johnson spoke with the coaches about the first two episodes of "The Last Dance" and commended Michael Jordan's work ethic and drive to great. Johnson commented on Jordan's tendency to fraternize with opponents during off times and the way things are a bit different now.

The coaches discussed how difficult it is to recruit basketball players to the University of Alabama, Johnson spoke about getting talented players like Collin Sexton, John Petty and Kira Lewis.

Coach Johnson was at Alabama for four seasons, he finished 75-62 with one NCAA Tournament appearance.
