It is time for another week of college football upset predictions. As the season progresses, the number of interesting games increases. Winning and losing at this point of the season is extremely crucial. Will a top ranked opponent fall this weekend?

#2 Oregon at #16 Washington

Are there any teams in the country that can beat Oregon? Or even slow down their offense? So far this season the Ducks have not faced an opponent that has even challenged them in the slightest way. Quarterback Marcus Mariota is a Heisman front runner and the leader for the second best team in the country. The Ducks are only allowing 11.8 points per game which is the second best in the country. Oregon has the talent and the speed, but will they face their very first challenge of the season this Saturday?

There are arguably three teams on Oregon's schedule that have the talent to beat the Ducks. Washington is one of those teams. The Huskies came very close to beating Stanford for the second straight season last Saturday. Keith Price threw for 350 yards against a defense that has been called the best defense in the PAC 12. Stanford also had trouble stopping Bishop Sankey as he was able to rack up 125 rushing yards. Washington's defense is allowing 14.8 points per game and is getting prepared to face the best offense they will see all season.

There is a lot of hype around this game. College Gameday has chosen to be in attendance this weekend. Washington has home field advantage and has a history of beating big teams at home. Oregon has history of falling to a PAC 12 opponent that usually keeps them out of the national championship game. The Huskies will have to bring everything they got to upset the mighty Oregon Ducks on Saturday. Crazier things have happened in college football and no one should rule out Washington's chances this weekend.

#25 Missouri at #7 Georgia

A different Georgia team shows up to play every week. The Bulldogs had impressive wins over South Carolina and LSU, but struggled with North Texas and Tennessee. Injuries have plagued this team greatly. Running back Todd Gurley was injured against LSU and backup running back Keith Marshall suffered a season-ending injury last Saturday against Tennessee. The Bulldogs can compete with any team in the country as long as quarterback Aaron Murray is healthy. A young defense has been a concern all season long and the games are usually left up to the veteran Georgia offense. The Bulldogs will play a team Saturday that no one expected to be undefeated at this point of the season.

Missouri entered the AP top 25 after beating Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Tigers have plenty to be happy about. Quarterback James Franklin is healthy and they are currently not in the bottom half of the SEC. Missouri has also had to rely on their offense because of a weaker defense. Unfortunately for Missouri, the toughest part of their schedule begins this weekend in Sanford Stadium. Starting the season undefeated is a great start for the Tigers, but this game will give them a chance to prove just how good they really are.

Last year, Missouri played a great game against Georgia early and then struggled in the second half and lost by 21. The Tigers will need to play four quarters of their best football in order to beat the Bulldogs and remain undefeated. The outcome of this game will depend on how well James Franklin plays and which Georgia team shows up this Saturday. If Georgia struggles this weekend like they did against Tennessee, there could be an interesting game in Athens.

#14 South Carolina at Arkansas

South Carolina has recently been under the spotlight regarding the handling of Jadeveon Clowney's injury. South Carolina has not had the dream season that was expected preseason. Clowney was suppose to be Heisman candidate. ESPN radio analyst Paul Finebaum said he believed the only SEC that could challenge or beat Alabama was South Carolina. Since that time, the Gamecocks have done a lot of good things, but also a lot of bad things. The Gamecocks fell to Georgia earlier in the season and struggled to beat UCF and Kentucky. Connor Shaw has led a successful read option on offense the defense has struggled. Clowney is not the player he was projected to be, and the Gamecocks may struggle with the rest of their regular season games.

It is only fair to say the Arkansas is in the process of a rebuilding year. The Razorbacks hired Bret Bielema from Wisconsin in the off season. There was a glimmer of hope after starting the season 3-0. Since their perfect start, the Razorbacks have dropped their last three games. They stayed competitive in all three losses until at least the third quarter. Arkansas is a young team thas lacks depth and big name players. Alex Collins is a true freshmen that is leading the team in rushing.

Both of these teams have coaches that won't shy away from big games. Bret Bielema has been on some of the biggest stages of college football and knows how to win big home games. Steve Spurrier is also no stranger to pulling out a slim victory. If South Carolina plays as poorly as they have the last two weeks, Bielema could land his first big victory as a new head coach in the SEC.

Iowa State at #20 Texas Tech

Texas Tech has started the season 5-0 for the first time since 2008. The Red Raiders are playing flawlessly under new head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Iowa State will be the toughest opponent this team has seen since they beat TCU in week three. Unfortunately, the Red Raiders will more than likely have to play without star quarterback Baker Mayfield, who suffered a knee injury that later showed no damage. He is still questionable for Saturday's game. If he does not play, the Red Raiders will have to rely on back up quarterback Davis Webb. He'll be crucial to this team because of the number of passing attempts per game.

Iowa State has a great chance to win this game and those chances will increase if head coach Paul Rhodes calms down following a loss to Texas that the Cyclones should have won. The Cyclones had a turnover not go in their favor and Rhodes let everyone in the country know he was displeased in his post game press conference. Iowa State is 1-3 on the season, losing their three games by a combined total of fifteen points. One of those losses was to FCS team Northern Iowa, who is currently 4-1. The Cyclones love to play their best football in the biggest games. The best example is their upset victory over Oklahoma State in 2011. Offensively and defensively the Cyclones are mediocre at best, but they gave the Texas Longhorns all they could handle.

There is more on the line in this game than one may realize. If Texas Tech wins it will be the first time in school history that the Red Raiders have started 6-0. If Iowa State wins it will make it easier to forget the Texas game. Expect the Cyclones to give the Red Raiders all they can handle plus more. Maybe fans of college football will be lucky enough to see another wild Paul Rhodes press conference if Iowa State is unable to pull out the win.

#17 Florida at #10 LSU

LSU has one of the best offenses in the SEC thanks to Zach Mettenberger dramatic improvement since last year. Running back Jeremy Hill is slowly getting a bigger and bigger role into the offense after off-season issues. This is a team usually known for their defense, but inexperience and younger plays has this defense allowing 24.7 points per game. The Tigers suffered a tough loss to Georgia two weeks ago primarily because of the defensive issues. It is never easy to beat LSU in Tiger Stadium, but a victory over Florida will help heal the wounds after the loss to Georgia.

Earlier in the season, Florida lost to in-state rival Miami. Since then, the Gators have lost key players to injury such as quarterback Jeff Driskel. Fortunately for Florida their defense is one the best in the country. The Gators hope to march into Tiger Stadium and upset the mighty LSU Tigers this Saturday. A victory would ultimately boost their chances of winning the SEC East. Lucky for Florida their only loss so far was to a non-conference opponent. Quarterback Tyler Murphy will have to play very well and will need help from running back Matt Jones.

This will be one of the best if not the best SEC game this week. LSU is not favored to blowout the Gators by any means at all, but a Florida victory would be an upset especially with the game being in Tiger Stadium. This will be the best defense LSU has seen so far this year. On the flip side, this will be the best offense Florida has seen so far this year. It will be quite the battle in Baton Rouge on Saturday night. The mad hatter Les Miles needs to have a solid game plan in order to avoid the upset.
