Wide Receiver Amari Cooper has agreed to a new contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Cooper's deal with the Cowboys was for five years and $100 million. Cooper was acquired by the Cowboys from the Oakland Raiders for a first round draft pick in 2018. Cooper instantly gave the Cowboys offense a lift as he provided quarterback Dak Prescott with a number-one receiver.

Cooper is a four-time pro-bowl receiver and has topped the 1,000 yard receiving mark in four of his five professional seasons. The former number four overall draft pick in 2015 turned in his best professional season with the Cowboys in 2019 reaching 1,189 yards with eight touchdowns on 79 receptions.

After locking up Ezekiel Elliot in the 2019 pre-season and giving the franchise tag to Prescott, Cooper became the next offensive priority for the Cowboys. The five-year deal puts Cooper on America's team until 2025.

Cooper was a National Champion, a two-time SEC Champion, Heisman Trophy finalist and Biletnikoff Award winner during his time at the Capstone. He earned $36.5 million in his first five seasons under his rookie contract according to Overthecap.com.
