Four-star class of 2024 athlete Aaron Butler is down to his final five schools.

The junior will decide between Georgia, Oregon, Colorado, Washington, and Alabama.

The Calif., native ranks No. 75 nationally, No. 7 in athletes, and No. 8 in the state of Calif., according to 247Sports Composite.

Butler originally committed to USC in Jan. of 2022 but decommitted from that program earlier this year.

If Butler chooses the Capstone, he will be the fifth commitment to the class of 2024 for the Crimson Tide and would join five-star prospects Julian Sayin and Jaylen Mbakwe, as well as four-stars Perry Thompson and Sterling Dixon. He would also improve Alabama recruiting ranking for that year. The team currently sits at No. 9.

"He definitely has a corner skill set and plays with a defensive mentality. He’s physical player and has a lot of nastiness in his game. Whether he’s blocking or jamming a receiver, he’s looking to physically dominate his opponent and will often stay on his block until he puts him in the ground or off the field. He has both short area quickness and long speed and it will be interesting to see what kind of times Butler can put up on the track this spring. As a receiver, he has really impressed and is a threat to score every time he touches the football," said national recruiting analyst for 247Sports Greg Biggins.

According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Georgia is the favorite to land the prospect with a 96.2% chance.
