Crimson Tide Recruit Narrows Down Schools

Class of 2024 four-star tight end Michael Smith has narrowed down his schools to eight.

The Savannah, Ga., native will choose between South Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Penn State, Florida, Ohio State, and Alabama.

The 6'4, 225 lb offensive weapon ranks No. 152 nationally, No. 6 in tight ends, and No. 24 in the state of Ga., according to 247Sports Composite.

According to 247Sports, Smith caught 42 receptions for 684 yards and nine touchdowns last season.

Alabama sent the prospect an offer on October 24, 2022. The Tide is one of 11 programs to send him an offer.

According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Florida has a 37.7% chance to land the junior.
