Crimson Tide Recruit Narrows Down Schools

Four-star class of 2024 running back Stacy Gage has narrowed down his schools to eight.

The junior will choose from Florida, Penn State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, USC, Colorado, Miami, and Alabama.

The Fla., native ranks No. 140 nationally, No. 12 in running backs, and No. 22 in the state of Fla., according to 247Sports Composite.

"A tempo-based runner with adequate burst and elite contact balance. Quickly processes what’s in front of him and is able to find yardage even when the blocking isn’t there. Short-stepping run style allows him to shake would-be tacklers with swift little cuts. Also equipped with a well-timed spin move makes him a threat to score anytime he reaches the second level. Has plenty of power in the lower half for a youngster and does a nice job of running through contact," said southeast recruiting analyst for 247Sports Andrew Ivins.

Gage would be the sixth commit and the first running back for the Alabama class of 2024 and would add to the Tide's top five recruiting class if he chooses to wear crimson and white.

According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Florida is the favorite to land the prospect with a 21% chance.
