Crimson Tide Recruit Sets Commitment Date

Five-star class of 2025 tight end Davon Mitchell has set his commitment date.

The upcoming junior will make his decision on July 8.

Mitchell will choose between Texas, Texas A&M, Miami, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

The Calif., native ranks No. 16 nationally, No. 2 in tight ends, and No. 1 in the state of Calif., according to 247Sports Composite. 

He received his offer from the Crimson Tide on June 25, 2022.

Mitchell attends Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, Calif. Last season, the Griffins went 9-3.

According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Oklahoma has a 95% chance to land the prospect.
