Mike Norvell announced he's staying at FSU, and he had been thought to be a major candidate at Alabama.

Steve Sarkisian is signing a new contract to stay at Texas.

And Washington's Kalen DeBoer? He cancelled a radio interview in Seattle this morning and then met with his boss and AD.

Coincidence? We don't think so.

No press conference has been announced in Tuscaloosa as of this writing, but good sources say Saturday, January 13 could be the day we all learn that DeBoer will be the man Greg Byrne names to replace Nick Saban.

And as Byrne said, "Don't believe it unless you hear it from me." And we won't, Greg. But DeBoer is who we think we will hear from you.

I'll end with this: we don't think its insignificant that Super Agent Jimmy Sexton, who does represent DeBoer, spent several hours Thursday inside the Mal Moore building, where Byrne's office is located.
