Former Alabama forward Donta Hall signed a second 10-day contract with the Orlando Magic. Hall has been averaging 4.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 14 minutes per game. The Magic are the Luverne-native's third NBA team in his career.

The 6-foot-10 forward signed his original 10-day contract on Apr. 13 and thus far has appeared in four games with the Magic. The second contract will cover five more games with Orlando and expire on May 2. The Magic will then either have to sign Hall for the remainder of the year or release him.

His best game with the Magic came in his first appearance with the franchise against the Chicago Bulls. He notched 17 minutes and tallied seven points and nine rebounds in route to a 115-106 victory.

Hall originally signed a 10-day contract with the Toronto Raptors in February but he was released by the team before appearing in any games.

As a undrafted rookie he signed back-to-back 10-day contracts with the Detroit Pistons but was not signed long term. He was added to the Brooklyn Nets Disney world bubble roster last season when the league restarted.

Hall has spent time in the NBA's G-league with the Grand Rapids Drive, the G League Ignite and the Raptors 905. He was named All-NBA G League Second Team, All-Defensive team and All-Rookie Team in 2020.

Hall averaged 7.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.69 blocks per game during his time in college at Alabama and was named SEC All-Defensive Team in both 2018 and 2019.
