Early Spring Recruiting Update From Hank South

Monday morning Hank South, recruiting analyst for BamaOnline, joined Host of "Southern Fried Sports" Travis Reier to talk some ball and provide a recruiting update for the Crimson Tide after their most recent Junior Day.

"If it were July, or August," South reassured Host Reier not to worry just yet that Alabama only has one hard commit so far for the 2021 class in Deontae Lawson. "I think there would be reason for concern."

"This last Saturday was really the first time this Spring Alabama has hosted visitors," South continued. "A dozen big visits coming up here in the next four weeks, several five-stars coming on campus. Several of the top priority targets."

"It gives Bama some time," South told Reier about Drake Maye's early de-commitment. "Another big positive here, the offensive staff is still intact. The guys that evaluated the quarterbacks last spring and summer, they are all still on the staff."
