Eddie Jackson Says Team Leaders Came Together After Western Kentucky Game

Nick Saban's message to the team has been improving consistency as far back as the start of fall camp. That sentiment hasn't changed through two games despite an average margin of victory of 37 points.

The players appear to be taking things into their own hands after Western Kentucky.

"We came together after the game," Jackson said. "We talked to each other and we talked to the offensive leaders and just told everyone what we need to be held accountable for and just what we need to work on and improve on."

Through two games, Alabama has been penalized 16 times and turned the ball over three times. That's given coaches enough to work on as conference play begins this Saturday against Ole Miss.

"Guys know we gotta come in, we've got a lot of things we need to work on. Everyone needs to improve individually and as a team."

The next chance will come in Oxford this weekend, where the Crimson Tide will try to snap a two-game losing streak in the series.
