Elite 2022 In-State Running Back Commits to Alabama
The rich keep getting richer as five-star in-state running back Emmanuel Henderson out of Geneva County High School has pledged his commitment to Alabama.
Henderson is the second highest ranked running back in the 2022 recruiting class and the second best prospect in Alabama according to the 247Sports composite. The 6-1, 185lb back chose the Crimson Tide over teams such as Auburn and Georgia.
Alabama now has five commitments for the 2022 recruiting class, including five-star quarterback Ty Simpson. With this commitment, Alabama is projected to move to the No. 14 ranked recruiting class in the country seven months before the early signing period.
If he stays with his commitment until signing day, he could join names like Brian Robinson, Keilan Robinson, Trey Sanders, Jace McClellan, Roydell Williams, Kyle Edwards, and Camar Wheaton in a stacked Alabama running back stable for the 2022 season. He would join Sanders and Wheaton as the third five-star running back on the roster.
Henderson also has interest from several SEC schools to play basketball. He has earned offers from schools like Auburn, Georgia and Ole Miss to compete on the hardwood.
