Elite Defensive Lineman Places Alabama in Top Five
Alabama once again find themselves listed among the top schools for another elite prospect from the 2026 class this time being a four-star defensive lineman from the state of Mississippi.

On Thursday, four-star 2026 defensive lineman Nolan Wilson released his top five schools via On3’s Hayes Fawcett X profile, which saw Wilson’s list include the Crimson Tide alongside three other SEC teams, which include: Ole Miss, Auburn, and Florida, and one team from the ACC, which is Miami.
Wilson, who excelled in his sophomore season at Picayune Memorial with On3 ranking the 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive lineman the No.3 prospect in his position group, No.3 player out of the state of Mississippi, and the No.45th overall prospect in the 2026 class.
According to On3, the four-star defensive lineman currently has 24 division 1 offers, 14 of which are from SEC schools, with all teams in the conference offering Wilson besides Kentucky and South Carolina.
Alabama’s coaching staff has seemed to have built a meaningful relationship with the No.3 player out of the state of Mississippi, with Wilson telling Touchdown Alabama before his March 22nd visit that “I love them. I got a place in my heart for them...I love the coaches. Freddie Roach, I got a good relationship with him. I got a good relationship with the bossman (Kalen DeBoer) himself."
According to On3, the Crimson Tide has hosted the highly coveted defensive lineman prospect the most of any other team, with the No.3 defensive lineman in the class making four visits to Alabama. Wilson, the No. 45 overall prospect in the 2026 class, has made three trips to Capstone and plans to return to the Crimson Tide's campus on May 30th for his first official visit. The four-star defensive lineman has four official visits set for this summer, three of which are from Wilson's top five colleges.
- May 30- Alabama
- June 6- Auburn
- June 13- Ole Miss
- June 20- USC
This would be a huge addition to the Crimson Tide’s 2026 recruiting class, which currently ranks ninth in the country and third in the SEC, with the class currently holding five commits and already having two defensive linemen in the class with four-star Kamhariyan Johnson and four-star Jamarion Matthews, according to On3.
