Emil Ekiyor Jr. Signed by Colts

Alabama senior offensive lineman Emil Ekiyor Jr. was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on Saturday evening, minutes after the conclusion of the 2023 NFL Draft.

He is the 11th Alabama alumnus to get picked up by an NFL team in the past three days, but the first to sign as an undrafted free agent.

Ekiyor signed to the Crimson Tide as a four-star recruit in 2018 and redshirted, appearing in 12 games in his first two years at the Capstone.

He took over as a full-time starter at the right guard position in 2020 and 2021. Last season he started 12 of Alabama's 13 games, and earned all-SEC first team honors.
