FIFA President Sepp Blatter says Brazil is further behind in preparations for the World Cup than any other country has been during his time with the organization.

Brazil has completed only six of the 12 World Cup stadiums despite a deadline by FIFA to finish by the end of 2013.

In an interview with Swiss newspaper 24 Heures, Blatter says "it's the country which is the furthest behind since I've been at FIFA and moreover, it's the only one that had so much time — seven years — to prepare itself."

Blatter also says he thinks there will be more of the protests, similar to those for the Confederations Cup. But he adds he believes "the Brazilians won't attack the football directly. Because for them, it's a religion."
