North Carolina and Duke haven't even met on the court this season, but tensions are already high inside the Dean Dome. During the annual team manager game played Tuesday, a fight broke out after a player aggressively cleared out the paint with his elbows.

The fact that this rivalry spills out to the team managers doesn't really surprise us. But we probably haven't seen an elbow connect with such force in this rivalry since Duke's Gerald Henderson attempted to block a shot and 'accidentally' smacked Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough squarely in the nose.

The first of two meetings between the Tar Heels and Blue Devils takes place tonight at 9 PM ET. The return trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium will end the regular season on March 8.

Could you imagine the intensity of an Alabama-Auburn flag football game played on the eve of the Iron Bowl?

Video of the scuffle can be seen below.
