Five-star class of 2024 power forward Jarin Stevenson has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide and will reclassify as a 2023 recruit.

He chose Alabama over Virginia and North Carolina.

The N.C. native ranks No. 16 nationally, No. 3 in power forwards, and No. 2 in the state of 2024, according to 247SportsComposite.

The upcoming senior announced his decision five days after releasing his final three schools.

"Stevenson is skilled on the offensive end; with solid size, he can push the break or shoot the three. He can fall in love with the three-point shot. He has a quick release and consistently has good balance, and is shot-ready off the catch. While he is still growing into his frame and athleticism, he has solid wiggle and excellent hand-eye coordination," said national recruiting analyst for On3Sports Jamie Shaw.
