Hassenaur joins a lackluster center room in New York featuring Shane Lemieux, Ben Bredeson, and Jack Anderson.

Hassenauer was a member of Alabama's 2014 recruiting class, winning two national championships during his time in Tuscaloosa. The 27-year-old also played for current Giants head coach Brian Daboll at Alabama.

The Minnesota native signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a UDFA in 2018, bouncing around the Falcons' active roster and practice squad before his final release in October 2018. Hassenauer then signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he has appeared in 45 games and started seven over 3 year. Hassenauer also spent time with the AAF's Birmingham Iron.

Hassenauer lanmassive huge opportunity in New York with plenty of familiar faces.
