Former Alabama Cornerback Expected to Miss Start of Season
Former Alabama and current Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey is expected to miss the start of the season as he is dealing with an injury.
"#Ravens Pro Bowl CB Marlon Humphrey is expected to miss time with an injury that may require a medical procedure and his status for the start of the season is now up in the air, sources tell me and @TomPelissero," posted NFL Network's Mike Garafolo on X.
Humphrey appeared in all 17 games for Baltimore last season, recording 71 total tackles (53 solo, 18 assisted), seven passes defended, three sacks, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble.
"#Ravens All-Pro CB Marlon Humphrey is dealing with a foot injury and he's expected to have surgery today, sources say. The hope is he's back in a little over a month. So, out for the first couple games," posted NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Ravens take on the Houston Texans on Sept. 10 at noon CT to kick off their season.
