
Former Alabama Defensive Back Co-Wins NFL Interception Title
Former Alabama defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick co-wins the 2022 NFL Interception Title.
He was one of four defensive players who recorded a league-high six interceptions this season.
The sixth year starter recorded 96 total tackles (56 solo, 40 assisted), as well as his six picks for 94 yards and a touchdown this season.

The N.J., native spent three seasons at the Capstone, recording 171 total tackles (109 solo, 62 assisted), 16 tackles for loss for 63 yards, 4.5 sacks for 41 yards, nine interceptions, 35 passes defended, two forced fumbles, and five touchdowns.
Fitzpatrick was drafted as the No. 11 overall pick in the 2018 NFL to the Miami Dolphins and was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in his second season.
Fitzpatrick joins Broncos safety Justin Simmons, Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Tariq Woolen in co-winning the interception title.
This past season, the Steelers went 9-8 and finished No. 3 in the AFC North.
