The Baltimore, Md., native saw time in 12 games in his one season with the Crimson Tide. During his tenure, he made nine tackles (six solo, three assisted), two tackles for loss, and one quarterback hit.

In June of 2020, Anoma transferred to the University of Tennessee-Martin, but only played the 2021 season due to transfer rules, according to 247Sports.

During his time with the Skyhawks, he had six sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss. He was also named the Stats Perform's FCS National Defensive Player of the Week for his performance versus Austin Peay in November of 2021.

Alabama was one of four offers for Anoma, and he picked the Tide over Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Michigan.
