Former Alabama head coach Gene Stallings is in the hospital after suffering a heart attack in Texas.

According to WBRC's Rick Karle, the 82-year-old is under the care of the Baylor University Medical Center.

Stallings has been battling health issues this year that included two separate strokes, but the head coach has been recovering well from both. He has been a regular guest on The Game with Ryan Fowler throughout the football season, including his most recent appearance last Wednesday.

The Paris News in Texas also points out that Stallings was on the prayer requests list at Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.

Ryan Fowler spoke with his publicist on Monday afternoon and doctors expect Stallings to make a full recovery. You can listen to the update in the video below.
