Former Louisiana cornerback Trey Amos has transferred to the Alabama.

The La., native played three seasons with the Ragin' Cajuns, recording 59 total tackles (46 solo, 13 assisted), 2.5 tackles for loss for eight yards, 14 passes defended, one interception, one forced fumble, and one block.

Amos is a former three-star recruit from the class of 2020, who ranked No. 1,462 nationally, No. 104 in athletes, and No. 65 in the state of La., according to 247Sports Composite. 

He is the fourth player to come to the Capstone from the portal, joining former Notre Dame quarterback Tyler Buchner, former Georgia linebacker Trezmen Marshall, and former Maryland tight end C.J. Dippre.

He chose the Crimson Tide over major programs like Ole Miss, Michigan, and Penn State.

Amos has two years of eligibility left.
