Former Crimson Tide standout and current New York Giant Xavier McKinney is going to miss a few weeks of action after injuring his hand in an ATV accident that occurred in Cabo during the team's bye week.

McKinney posted on social media that he went to Cabo during the bye week and participated in a guided tour on ATVs. During the tour, he wrecked and will now miss at least four weeks with the Giants placing the star safety on the reserve/non-football injury list.

The injury will put an end to McKinney holding the record for the longest currently active snap streak, dating back to week three of last season.

McKinney has been incredible so far this season and has helped the Giants go from NFC bottom dweller to a powerhouse 6-2 squad at this point in the season.

So far this season, McKinney has 38 tackles, a forced fumble, a sack, and one pass break up. His presence in the secondary will be sorely missed by a Giants defense that has to stop a good Detroit Lions offense, the Dallas Cowboys, and a surging Washington Commanders team in three of the next four weeks.
