Four-star defensive lineman Edric Hill is down to his top six destinations: Oregon, LSU, USC, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

The Kansas City, Mo., native ranks at No. 187 nationally, No. 27 in defensive lineman, and No.  6 in the state of Mo., according to 247Sports' Composite.

"Hill is one of the more physically gifted defensive linemen in the 2023 cycle. The 6-foot-3, 295-pounder has 34.5-inch arms and ran an electronically-timed 4.99 second 40-yard dash at the Under Armour Next camp series during the spring. The explosive athleticism and high-end length show up on the field," said ranking evaluator for On3Sports Charles Power.

The North Kansas High School football player helped the Hornets to two winning records and three second-round appearances in the Missouri Class 5 State Tournament.

The upcoming senior spoke to Hank South from 247Sports about why he sticks out from the pack.

“Just because my mindset is different from other people, in my opinion. I want to get better and develop and go to a place where they have a great history of putting players in the league and making their IQ better. I just want to be a better player and a better person," said Hill.

According to 247Sports' Crystal Ball Predictions, Alabama has a 100% shot at landing the lineman. Hill would be the second defensive lineman on the Tide's class of 2023, joining Hewitt-Trussville star Hunter Osborne.
