It's been a week of hot humid weather and heat advisories, pretty normal for summer in Alabama...and we're just getting started.

Last year Thrillist.com ranked Alabama with the 4th worst summer in the nation, behind only Mississippi, Louisiana and Arizona.  This year may be even hotter than normal.  The NOAA's Climate Prediction Center says July and August have a good chance of above average temperatures this summer.

Will we also get more rain this summer?  According to AL.com, that's a little harder to predict.   The average temps in July and August are about 92 degrees, the average rainfall in Tuscaloosa is just over 4 inches in July and just over 4 inches in August.
