Geraldine held off Gordo 42-34.

Winfield lost at  Sylvania 35-10.


Bibb County fell at homne to Jacksonville 28-21.


Demopolis won at  B.C. Rain 13-6.

Hillcrest smashed Helena, 42-7 and the Patriots head to powerful Saraland next week. The Spartans crushed Briarwood Christian 51-14 and are probably the best team in the state regardless of classification.

Clay-Chalkville rallied to beat pesky Mountain Brook 17-13.


Thompson pulled away late to beat Vestavia Hills 34-14. The Warriors will host Hewitt-Trussville, which routed Hoover 40-7.
