Injury Update Following the Alabama-USC Matchup
In a thrilling matchup on Saturday, Alabama secured a hard-fought victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks, but not without its share of injury concerns.
One of the most notable absences was wide receiver Kendrick Law. Although he suited up for the game and participated in warm-ups, he did not play as he was listed as a game-time decision. His absence has raised some concern, but more about his development is expected to come out this week.
During the game, cornerback Domani Jackson was tackled by Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Sellers and suffered an injury in the second quarter. Jackson was helped off the field, unable to put weight on his right leg, and was taken to the medical tent before being carted off.
However, Jackson returned in the third quarter, and seemed to find some grit and determination in the fourth quarter. Just when it seemed the Gamecocks might secure a home invasion over the Tide, Jackson ran into the end zone to intercept Sellers's ball and seal the deal for the Tide.
