Former Alabama tight end Jahleel Billingsley is reportedly no longer with the Texas Longhorns.

Billingsley transferred from to Texas from Alabama during the 2022 offseason after three seasons with the Tide. He missed the first six games of the 2022 season due to a suspension that is said to be from an NCAA issue that occurred during his time at Alabama. Billingsley only played three games with the Longhorns with only three receptions for 38 yards.

During his time at Alabama from 2019-21, Billingsley had 37 receptions for 559 yards and six touchdowns. His most successful season with the Tide was in 2020, where he was coached by the then Alabama offensive coordinator and current Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian. That season, Billingsley had 18 receptions for 287 yards and three touchdowns. That Alabama team went on to win the 2020 CFP National Championship.

The specification for why Billingsley is no longer with Texas is currently due to personal reasons.
