A dynamic dual-threat quarterback, Milroe has made headlines for his explosive athleticism and big-plays. When asked about the kind of player he strives to be - both on and off the field - Milroe offered a more holistic view of his game and character.

"Student of the game, very joyful, and committed to uplifting other people along their journey. I don't believe in the word "self-made" at all. I believe it takes a team to accomplish anything. If you look at the foundation of who I am, I have both parents in my life, and I am also surrounded by people or who believe in me when it comes to my  family-oriented background. So that's who they're getting they're getting somebody that's committed and love football."

One of the most noticeable aspects of Milroe's game is his elite speed. His acceleration and breakaway ability have often put him in a league of his own. He credits his speed not just to natural athleticism, but to a childhood memory.

""What people don't know is I got family in Sunnyside, Texas - that's the country. My cousins used to do a prank; they have horses, and they would latch the horse to the tree when it was time to feed them so they wouldn't run. So, when they let them off the leash, guess who had to go get them? We had to go get them, sprint, and go get them. You can't look at it; they would be gone, and you got to go chase them down. Early on, I was always running."

As he prepares to begin his professional career, Milroe continues to embrace his family, trust the work he's put in, and be eager to accept the challenge given by whoever selects him on Thursday night.

"To hear my named called no matter when it is, I'm just super excited because I'm a reflection of my family. When you see me you see my dad, my mom, my grandparents -you see everybody. I'm just living proof that you can do it and achieve everything you put your mind to. If you want it, go get it."
