GREEN BAY, Wis. - Dual-threat quarterback Jalen Milroe was selected with the No. 92 overall pick in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks on Friday night. The pick was announced by none other than Alabama and Seahawks football legend Shaun Alexander, adding a touch of Crimson Tide pride to the moment. Milroe becomes the third former Crimson Tide player to be drafted this year.

Milroe served as the starting quarterback at Alabama for two seasons, where he left a strong stat line with his dynamic playmaking abilities. A true dual-threat, Milroe accumulated 7,593 total yards, 78 total touchdowns, and broke the Alabama record for a quarterback with the most rushing touchdowns in a single season, after reaching 14 to set the record during the 42-13 win over the LSU Tigers on Nov. 9, 2024.

Now, heading to Seattle, Milroe enters a quarterback room that recently added Sam Darnold on a 3-year deal via free agency. With Darnold expected to begin the season as the starter, Milroe will likely sit, learn, and develop behind him.

Given Milroe's raw talent and athleticism, the Seahawks have the opportunity to make him their future. With his combination of explosiveness and arm strength, he could be a future star and lead the charge in a few years.
