Jalen Milroe Makes Program History in Season Debut
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe had a magical performance under the lights on Saturday night in the Crimson Tide's 56-7 win against Middle Tennessee State.
The Texas native went 13-of-18 for 194 and three passing touchdowns, as well as seven rushing attempts for 48 yards, and two touchdowns. He also recorded a 72% completion and a 217.8 passer rating.
According to the SEC Network, Milroe's performance made program history.
"Jalen Milroe is the first QB in @AlabamaFTBLhistory with 3 Pass TD and 2 Rush TD in a game," tweeted SEC Network.
The Crimson Tide takes on the Texas Longhorns on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. CT. Coverage will be on Tide 100.9 FM and the Tide 100.9 app which is free to download in the App Store.
