Milroe began by expressing his mindset going into the fourth quarter. " I thought about finish and to maximize every time we had an opportunity. I think that was so important especially in the fourth quarter. We thought about finish that’s where you really implement the finish mentality."

He then shifted to a more reflective tone, acknowledging the mistakes during the game,“Mistakes are going to come, that’s the best thing about football. Mistakes will allow you to learn and grow from it," said Milroe.

The Tide has had some challenges these past two weeks, but are determined to strive and to grow continuously. " The first sign of improvement is acknowledging that you need to work hard and acknowledging that you need to improve. There's guys that's always looking to get better and learning. We have a long season ahead of us, and through games our next opponent allows us to gage where we're at. I think it's awesome for us to look back and reflect and build," said Milroe.

Despite the victory, Milroe emphasized the desire for continuous improvement. He believes the team's greatest strength is their mental toughness. “Our biggest strength is mental toughness. I think finishing despite anything that goes on in the game. Mental toughness is so important beyond talent, because we have a board that says TNT takes no talent,  that’s something that we try to have. Grind, refine, repeat as much as possible, and then when we have games just being our best and doing our best during that game plan."

He concluded by reiterating the dedication to the team's success. His primary focus during this week's practice is to improve and be the best quarterback he can for his teammates. He believes as long as they have the right mindset and continue to grow then they can succeed. "The mission is still the mission, our goals are still the goals. Now it's all about following all of our goals," said Milroe.

The Tide will go back to the drawing board and now shift their attention towards Tennessee, in hopes of completing their road to redemption.
