The No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide (5-0) is set to welcome the Mississippi State Bulldogs (1-3) into Tuscaloosa this Saturday in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Mississippi State has already defeated the defending national champion LSU Tigers this year, but the Bulldogs will likely be without one of its best weapons as they attempt to pull off another upset.

Bulldogs head coach Mike Leach met with the media today and revealed that highly regarded running back Kylin Hill's status for this weekend's game is in doubt.

Hill was reportedly suspended last week for the Texas A&M game and according to Leach he is still out tending to personal matter.

"He's still unavailable," Leach said.

The senior running back has played in three games so far and taken 15 carries for 58 yards, he has also contributed in the passing game hauling in 23 receptions for 237 yards and one touchdown. He is first on the team in receptions and second in receiving yards.

Hill led the SEC in rushing yards by a running back last season with 1,350 yards. He played an instrumental role in the offseason towards the state of Mississippi changing its state flag.

While Hill is a talented player and running back, the Bulldogs have shown that running the ball is not a priority this year in Mike Leach's "Air Raid" offense. Mississippi State is averaging fewer than 30 yards rushing per game this year and averages a league-low 1.54 yards per rush.
