It's apparently never too early to learn how to cheat. An Arizona Little League team has been disbanded because league officials say its coaches rigged a player draft.

The governing board of the Apache Junction (Ariz.) Little League dissolved "The Hooks" on Friday after they discovered evidence the team's coaches rigged the player draft system to get the best players.

Both the coaches and the players — ages 8, 9 and 10 — deny the fixing. The affected players will be able to join other teams if they want to play this season, but parents are outraged at the claims their children may have been in on the scam and upset their kids may now have to compete against the new friends they've made.

"(Fun) is all that should matter. Not the competition side. For crying out loud, my kid is 9," mother Michelle Johnson said.

Hey Yankees and Red Sox, they learned it by watching you! This is why we can't have nice things. Next thing you know, coaches will be spiking Fruit Roll-Ups with Creatine. Hopefully, the kids will be able to have fun while playing on a team that doesn't seem like a league juggernaut.

They'll find out soon enough that, in life, you lose more than you win.
