LSU announced the updated capacity for Tiger Stadium following renovations and it's now the third-largest stadium in the Southeastern Conference.

The LSU football program shared the news through Twitter Friday afternoon.

With 102,321, Tiger Stadium passes Bryant-Denny Stadium (101,821) but falls 134 seats short of Tennessee's Neyland Stadium. Kyle Field at Texas A&M will hold 106,300 in 2014 after its expansion but will drop to 102,512 in 2015 and beyond after premium seating is added. The new Tiger Stadium total also makes the stadium the sixth largest in the nation.

The attendance record for LSU was set in 2012 when 93,374 fans were in Baton Rouge to see the Tigers' 21-17 loss to Alabama.

LSU will debut its new stadium in week two of the 2014 season when Sam Houston State visits. That game will be televised on the SEC Network.
