LT Overton Announces Return to Alabama in 2025
The Alabama Crimson Tide earned a boost to its pass rush in 2025, with star bandit defensive lineman LT Overton announcing his return to Alabama for the 2025 football season.
In his statement, Overton says, "The journey towards success that has been paved at Alabama by the guys before me is not over."
"I am excited to take on challenges, and I am always looking to provide leadership," Overton said via his Instagram. "As the late Kobe Bryant would say - 'Job's not finished!' ... This is my official announcement - I am returning for my senior year. Roll Tide, Roll!" Overton said in his announcement.
Overton transferred to Alabama following two seasons at Texas A&M and made an immediate impact as the starting 'bandit' defensive lineman in Kane Wommack's 4-2-5 defensive scheme. During his junior year at Alabama, Overton totaled 42 tackles across 13 games, with three tackles for loss, two sacks, one pass breakup, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble.
