Making Sense of Nick Saban’s Message Following Alabama’s Second Scrimmage
Alabama head coach Nick Saban doesn't make media appearances very often outside of his set schedule during spring and fall so there's a lot of value in what he's saying when he steps behind that podium.
As the final few practices wind down in Tuscaloosa, Saban made one of his final appearances on Saturday after his team had to take its scrimmage indoors. He said afterwards that he was pleased with the effort in the second spring scrimmage, but he discussed the work that still needed to be done.
To make sense of what Saban said in his post-practice press conference, Martin Houston spent some time with the audio and explained what he thought Saban was saying. You can hear the entire discussion in the video at the top of the page.
What do you think Saban's biggest concern is through 12 practices?
