Minkah Fitzpatrick Wills Steelers to Upset Win

Former Tide safety Minkah Fitzpatrick shined Sunday afternoon in the Steelers upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals were favored coming into the game after coming within a quarter of winning last year's Super Bowl over the Los Angeles Rams, but the Steelers defense stymied Joe Burrow and the rest of the Cincinnati offense behind Fitzpatrick's elite play.

The All-Pro safety got the scoring started for the day, picking off Burrow's first pass of the season and returning it for a touchdown.

Fitzpatrick went on to accumulate 14 total tackles to go along with the aforementioned pick-six, leading the Steelers defense to forcing five turnovers on the evening.

But Fitzpatrick's most important play of the game came after the Bengals made a comeback and tied the game at 20 with a Ja'Marr Chase touchdown.

Fitzpatrick would burst through the line and block the game-winning extra-point, sending the game to overtime where the Steelers would emerge victorious 23-20.
