Alabama basketball coach Nate Oats just finished his first recruiting class for the Crimson Tide and he's already working on his second. Oats extended three scholarship offers this week for the 2021 recruiting class. Oats made offers to James White, Carter Whitt and Alexander Crawford.

White is a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Heritage High School in Conyers, Georgia. He is rated a three-star recruit by Rivals, he is currently unranked by 247Sports. White has 10 scholarship offers so far from schools like Florida State, Florida, Arizona State and more. His length makes him an attractive prospect in the Coach Oats system.

Whitt is a 6-foot-3 point guard out of Leesville Road High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. 247Sports rates him as a four-star prospect, the second overall player in North Carolina and the 10th rated point guard in the country. Whitt currently has 17 scholarship offers with schools like Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland and more extending him offers.

Crawford is a 6-foot-7 small forward out of Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California. According to Maxpreps he averaged 17 points, six rebounds and two blocks per game as a junior in 2019-20. Crawford is not yet on the Rivals or 247Sports radar. According to Crawford's Twitter account he has two scholarship offers, from TCU and Alabama.

The Crimson Tide finished with the 21st recruiting class nationally and the sixth best class in the SEC in the 2020 cycle according to 247Sports. It may be a dead period in recruiting but Oats has kept busy in an effort to ensure his second class is even better than his first.
