Bama in the NFL: Week 15 Recap
The end of the season is upon us and the final three games for each team are coming up. This past week was full of great matchups and there were a ton of former Tide players that impacted them. Lets break it down.
Ravens - 24 at Bengals - 0:
Derrick Henry (Ravens) - Henry had quite the day on the ground totaling 100 yards off of 11 carries. Henry averaged 9.1 yards per carry. His second ypc total of the season. He should continue to be the main driver of this offensive running attack going forward.
Raiders - 0 at Eagles - 31:
Jalen Hurts (Eagles) - Hurts had a nice bounce back game this week after having his worst performance of his career last week against the Bears. Going 12/15 for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns, Hurts was as efficient as it gets. It was a great showing and confidence boost for this offense as they make their playoff push.
DeVonta Smith (Eagles) - A quiet game for Smith as Brown saw most of the action in this one. He totaled two catches for 50 yards. A quiet game but Smith is still a quality number two weapon in this offense.
Lions - 34 at Rams - 41:
Jameson Williams (Lions) - Williams had another great showing in this high profile matchup. Williams came away with his fourth 100+ yard game of the season. He finished with 134 yards off of seven catches and snagging a touchdown along the way. Williams has continued to see an increase in workload this season, especially in the last three weeks. It is by far his best season yet.
Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions) - A tough run defense in the Rams led to a quiet game for Gibbs and one in which this offense struggled to get the run game going. Gibbs had 13 carries for 38 yards and another four catches for 20 yards. Gibbs will continue to be the main back and this game should not be cause for concern.
That does it for the week 15 recap. Check back Thursday for the week 16 outlook.
