Quinn Ewers and the Longhorns picked apart the Crimson Tide cornerbacks the entire game. Texas had 292 total passing yards with most of the receiving yards coming from Xavier Worthy, Bijan Robinson, and Jordan Whittington.

However, one cornerback's performance caught the eye of the seven-time national champion.

"I thought he (Terrion Arnold) played much better. You know, we have a lot of competition at corner, so we kinda go by who played the best. You know, we started Khyree [Jackson], he got beat a couple of times. You know, I got confidence in all of them but when Arnold went in the game I thought he did a really good job and made a couple of nice plays," said Saban.

Arnold recorded five solo tackles and defended one pass in the Tide's 20-19 victory against the Longhorns.

Kool-Aid McKinstry also had a good outing, picking up seven total tackles (six solo, one assisted), one sack, one tackled for loss, and one pass defended.

Jackson finished his morning with three solo tackles.
